Great game. Could use more power ups and more stages. Leaves you hanging once you finish it.
Targeting seems to be off. The projectiles seem to fly right above my cross hairs constantly so I have to aim right below the targets. At first I thought it was just programmed inaccuracy based on the weapon but it was constant.
Great game. Like a 2d platformer survival horror...
Its only a demo so I guess theres gonna be more weapons on the actual final game because using a flame thrower to clear away boxes or break rusty pad locks doesn't sound so right to me. I was thinking kick the boxes or kick the lock to break them but nothing was happening.
Also if you want to add some game mechanics to the flame thrower, there are a lot of dark rooms in the game. Maybe you could use the flame thrower to brighten them up or make it so that you need the flame thrower as a light source.
Nice shooter. Makes me want to make my own. :)
You might want to add an auto fight feature as it gets tiring holding the mouse button down for so long. There doesn't seem to be any need to NOT fire.
Other than that, it was fun.
I heard that Regent originally had limited ammo. It was a good idea to put that concept in here and have the ability to use different options. My fave was the shot gun because the rate of fire of all waepons were all the same. As in unchecked and over powered. Plus I liked the melee options. I wanted to kill the clown just with bare hands... y'know, like how real men fight. :)
I had a few pet peeves though. Like the flying kick. It was strange like how you just stick your foot out like that and wait for it to hit something. And an un needed summersault animaton that made your weapon disappear.
Other than thos, it was fun. Great game.
Its one of those great stress relieving games. And it doesn't have any gore or zombies for a change. :)
